Defining Hope: January 17, 2013 -- Urgent Prayers Needed!

Today we headed to town to have some fresh air, even though it was raining - its our day off!!! We headed straight to Pizza Hut! YUMMY!......and we might have had some McDonald's fries as well. Boy were they good :) We then shopped in the market just for fun. I really haven't bought a lot of things here. Today I bought Grayson a little bear hat with ear flaps! Its adorable :) Although I bought it because we should have about 2 more months of winter when we get home, but after the news today I am not sure if he will get to wear it much. I also bought a cute purse/bag here because one of the bags I have been using is beginning to rip at the bottom. Yes, that's how long I have been here.......my purse is beginning to rip. Anyway, I bought one today that I really love! It was a nice day to get out for a little bit. I also bought something for Matt, but it's a surprise :)

On another note ~ There was an earthquake somewhere nearby so we had a pretty big tremor this afternoon. Scared me to death! I was in the babies room with mom and a few other people when the floor started shaking a lot. I thought at first it was me getting dizzy or something, but after a few seconds I realized it wasn't just me!! I went to the kitchen to see what we should do and by that time is had stopped. They told us to just stay put and that it was pretty common here. But, it was big enough that they were a little scared themselves :/ Anyway, we are all fine and nothing was damaged, etc.

So Ted called the courthouse today and they said our paperwork is still sitting on the judges desk. (not signed) They do not know when they will sign it. And that is the extent of what they would tell us. It's ridiculous at this point. It has been in their possession for 1 week now. Just sitting there. At this point that means that we will not receive it tomorrow or Saturday. So now we move on to next week????? I am pretty sure I will need to leave the country at this point. PLEASE PRAY THAT TED WILL BE ABLE TO MEET WITH THE HEAD JUDGE TOMORROW ABOUT OUR CASE AND THE JUDGES HEART AND EYES WILL BE OPEN TO OUR SITUATION!! AND THAT HE WILL SIGN IT ASAP!
