So we are 1 day late, but better late than never!! :) Grayson wanted to eat another zebra cake in honor of Grandma Keller's birthday! Happy Birthday Grandma Keller - Grayson cannot wait to meet you :) Below is a pic of him eating my finger which has a piece of cake on it. He LOVED it!
We heard today that the social worker has still not turned in the paperwork for the judge to make a ruling on our adoption. :( Kind of frustrated about that. Hopefully we can find out some information tomorrow on the case? We were really hoping that since I am staying in Taiwan that our case might go a little quicker, but it has not for us. We will just keep praying that things will get moving soon.
My day started by oversleeping by 2 hours!! Yes - 2 HOURS! I felt terrible as everyone else was downstairs with screaming babies and I am sleeping. I hurried down there and the girls said, "well, we decided not to wake you up - you obviously needed the sleep". :) (I think they were right!) So I skyped with Matt which was fun because Grayson was awake. It's really hard to work out skype times with a baby and their schedule! Especially when there is 13 hours difference!
For lunch we went to a cafe on the lake that makes really amazing waffles!! I got mulberry waffles and it was awesome!!! Below is a picture :) There was whip cream and mulberry's in a fancy design with our waffles. I couldn't even eat all of it so I put the extra waffles in some napkins and brought them back to the orphanage!
Amanda and Rebekah will be going home to the states tomorrow so it was a very sad day and evening as they were saying their goodbye's to everyone. They have been here for 3 months now and have had an incredible impact on everyone here and of course the babies they have taken great care of. I know God is going to do amazing things in their lives as they have a servants heart for sure. They have been so great to me and included me into their "group". I have loved getting to know them and have so much gratitude for the love they have showed Grayson. They are so funny and brighten everyone's day here. I am so blessed to have spent so much time with them and I know God will continue to work in their lives.
