Today we headed out to the doctor to get Graysons shots. He got the Hepatitis B shot and Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (DPT) shot. He did really well on the first shot, but screamed on the 2nd one. Broke my heart :( I think he did better than me - knowing that I don't like needles, but I couldn't look away because I was holding his legs down :/ But we survived and I am glad that is over now so we don't have to worry about that when we do get our final adoption decree.
One interesting fact about the doctors office is that the front sliding doors are always left open, even on the cold and rainy days! They believe that any germs that get brought in there will be gotten rid of by keeping the doors open?? They said this is very common in many countries?!
Grayson was happy the rest of the day of course. Giggling, laughing, and playing the whole day.
We had a huge surprise when we got back to the house! We had a box from Matt's family (Mommaw, Pappaw, Nana Kellie, Poppy Dave and the rest of the family!!! There was so much stuff in there that made us smile :) Lots of food, toys, Christmas decorations, etc! The nannies here really love the pizza pringles!! We also Got some cards in the mail from them. It just all happened to arrive on the same day :) It was so nice to see who all the cards were from!
We also got a card from Aunt Lin which was really special! I am so excited to keep the cards in Grayson's scrapbook to show him some day! I have kept every little note for him along this journey :) I also decorated above my bed with the decorations I got!! Looks much more festive now! I will try and post a pic of my decorations tomorrow :)
Please continue the prayers as we hope to get some answers by Friday?
Love to all
