Woke up this morning to another sun -shining day! The weather is always so nice here when the sun is out and everything seems much happier and brighter :) Well, I think the babies are officially over the flu and diarrhea (knock on wood!). They are all feeling much better and eating and sleeping much better too! And so are the workers :)
I took Grayson for a walk today in the beautiful weather. He LOVES being outside and looking at everything. I can just see his little brain taking everything in and he's so curious. He loves riding in the stroller even thought the pavement here is quite bumpy. He thought it was funny when I put the visor thing over his head to keep the sunlight off his face--- but I could still see him through a "peek" window thing. He thought it was funny to look up at me. Makes my heart melt when he smiles at me every 10 seconds :) We got to skype Matt, Nana Kellie, and Nana & Papaw this morning! I seriously do not know what I would do without skype! Just makes being here more bearable somehow to see my family. We are really hoping to hear some good news this week and find out where our paperwork is. It seems quite impossible to be home for Christmas at this point, but I am just hoping for some good news. That would satisfy me at this point!
Well, I thought I had seen everything possible served at the dinner table for the past 6 weeks. I was wrong. Tonight there was a plate of "chicken parts". I could barely look at it. There was chicken claws and all! (Sherree Empson warned me about this!!) :) Needless to say I did not par-take of any of the chicken but I did have rice and eggs w/corn in it. There were also grapes as the fruit tonight. I LOVE their grapes! Fresh off the vine. YUMMY! Ted also made individual sized apple dumpling pies. They were the best thing I have eaton here so far!! I have actually had 2 of them at this point because the extra ones are sitting on the stove in the kitchen. It was a great ending to the night :) :)
I am really enjoying getting to know some of the kids here in the orphanage. I wish I could spend more time with them, but our days are full of taking care of the babies. I am getting quite attached to these babies here too! I can pretty much tell them all apart now by their cries or sounds.
A lot of people have been so kind in sending emails, fb messages, cards, etc. Many people are asking what I need or how they can help us. Here is a simple way to help this week.
Please pray for the following.
1. Our paperwork will be found quickly
2. The judge will receive the paperwork and make a ruling
Love to all!
Lindsay & Grayson
Going on our walk!
Beautiful flowers here in Taiwan!
This is a wasps nest outside the window of the orphanage. These wasps are monsterous!!! Probably about 3-4 inches long. For real, get out a ruler to see what I mean! That is their nest. Don't worry, I stayed far away and zoomed in with my camera.
All smiles on our walk :)
I think he is saying, "another pic??? Let's go already!"
Playing in the hop-n-pop :) He loves this thing
