Wow does not even begin to describe the Christmas package I got today!! Not only did Grayson and I LOVE it, but so did the Nannies and some of the older kids that are here :) There is sooooooo much candy and food everyone asked how long I was staying again! Not gonna lie, I am a little concerned about getting the clothes, keepsakes, etc. home in our suitcases!.......and I still haven't shopped for Grayson's "gottcha day" gifts yet. We are hoping to do that on Thursday (YIPPEE!!)
I cannot even begin to describe everything that was in the box besides a LOT of food, snacks, baby stuff for Grayson, toys, bibs, 1st Christmas outfits, Sierra Mist, Awesome Elite shirt, family pictures, numerous cards, homemade Christmas cookies (the favorite here), Christmas socks, filled stockings and sooo much more. Everyone wants to seriously know how that big of a box got here!!.....for real.
Today was a really hard day personally for me. Just getting really home sick, tired, and frustrated. One of those "overwhelming" days. This has def. been one of the best, yet hardest things I have ever done. So the box was just the "pick-me-up" that I needed today. Thank you to all who helped in any way at all! From all the goodies, to packaging it, shipping it, and all the thought that went into each item :) You all know me waaaayyy to well! Grayson wasn't sure what was going on! He loved all the toys, bibs, etc. Below are some pictures of our day!
We are hoping to get our first decree soon. I keep telling myself that every day is one day closer to coming home. Thank you to all who have played a part in this adoption journey so far. From the letters, cards, money, gifts, thoughts and prayers, fundraising, and love you all have shown us is humbly overwhelming. We are truly truly blessed to have you all in our lives.
