November 20, 2012 - Another Day :)

Today was pretty quiet around here....besides the 23 babies. :)  I was asked to write a brief article about our adoption (with little details)  It will be published in the Ray of Hope newsletter that is sent out here in Taiwan.  The Ray of Hope is an organization that houses pregnant women and help them financially, emotionally, and physically during their pregnancy.  They try their very best to teach the woman that adoption is the right way to deal with unwanted pregnancies instead of abortions.  Grayson was a "Ray of Hope" baby.  You can check out more about their work at: www.rayofhopetaiwan.org

Now, I do not believe that I am a great writer at all, but below is what I have sent them to be published.   I am not 100% sure they will publish it, but either way is fine with me :)

"Our journey to adopt became very clear as we prayed for many years for God to bless us with children.  Through many prayers and soul searching we felt God calling us to Taiwan.  There were many "signs" along the way that helped us to know we were right where God wanted us to be.  Through some friends, we came to hear about "The Home of God's Love".  We began the process to adopt.  We were so excited to be matched with a baby boy which we named Grayson!  There are no words to describe how we felt as the time approached to meet our son.  Seeing him for the first time was amazing and again, we were speechless.  I think there are moments in life where you can feel God's grace and are so overwhelmed by his love for us.  We have since found out that Grayson came from "The Ray of Hope Organization".  We are forever grateful that his birth mother chose life for him.  Ray of Hope and The Home of God's Love has changed countless lives and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.  When we began our adoption journey we knew God would bless us as it says in Deuteronomy 28:2, "All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God".  We had no idea how many blessings God had waiting for us along the path.  It has been a wonderful experience and we praise God for his grace and love.
Love,
The Millers"

Sucking his thumb at all times :) Even when smiling!....and drinking his bottle.

This is Grayson's name above his bed. :)
