Today was bath day!!! It was quite a sight to see babies being passed around and given baths! Grayson did not like it at all. He pretty much screamed the whole time, but was very happy when it was over and he was all clean.
They also decided to do Christmas pictures today! They dressed each baby in a Christmas outfit and took their picture individually to send to their mommy's and daddy's!! They were sooo cute! I brought Grayson's Christmas outfit with me just in case we are not home for Christmas. It was a white onesie with a Christmas hat which was super cute and all the ladies loved it :) So it was quite the busy morning with giving 23 babies baths, pictures, feeding time, and changing diapers :)
I also went on a bike ride with Amanda (working as a volunteer here for a few months). We rode around the lake a few times as she as telling me all about Taiwan and the things she has learned. It was nice to be able to talk with someone who could answer questions and give me insight into their country.
We had fish (the whole thing) - ham - rice - cabbage something - and papaya today for lunch. I pretty much just ate the rice, a little ham, and the papaya. Bev told me the papaya is from their land here beside the orphanage. It was very good!
I know a lot of you have been asking what to pray for so here are a few things:
1. Matt and my mom left this morning and are flying - safe travels
2. That the social worker will get the paperwork into the judge quickly
3. The judge will rule on our case quickly and get us the first decree
Thank you for all the facebook messages and emails! Keep me updated with anything going on at home!!
I love updates!!!
Love to all,
Lindsay & Grayson
